One of the main responsibilities for the PTO is fundraising. We offer three main fundraisers for the year with additional opportunities to support the school and have additional monetary commitment.
Our fall fundraiser is our Membership Drive. This occurs at the start of the school year and once again in January. 100% of all funds raised through membership stays at the school. In the winter we offer a Read-a-Thon and in the spring we offer our Fun Run.
Our largest fundraiser is our Fun Run. Students run laps and seek monetary pledges. In 2017, the Fun Run raised enough money to refresh an entire computer lab! In 2018 the Fun Run raised enough money to supply each classroom with an extensive library of books. In 2019 we raised over $35,000 that went towards new technology which included projectors for classrooms, poster cutting machine and much more. Unfortunately, in 2020 & 2021 we were unable to have our annual Fun Run due to Covid-19. In 2023 we raised over $40,000!!! And we could not have done it without your support! The money raised went over teacher grants, principal fund, funds for future playground upgrades, Scholastic magazine subscriptions, Dreambox, BrainPop and much more. This new school year we love to see the whole entire school come together for this event once more.
