Each year, the T. Clay Wood PTO sets aside a portion of our budget specifically to support our teachers and classrooms. These funds are available through PTO grants and may be used for classroom materials, special projects, educational programs, student experiences, and other needs that enhance learning at T. Clay Wood.
We encourage our teachers to apply! Complete the PTO Grant Request Form with information about your request and how the funds will be used.
Whenever possible, please submit your request before our monthly PTO meeting so the Board has time to review it and respond promptly.

Have a skill, hobby, or subject you’d love to share with our students? Teach an SEP class!
The PTO sponsors Supplemental Education Programs (SEP) to give T. Clay Wood students fun and enriching learning opportunities beyond the regular school day. Our SEP classes are organized and managed by the PTO and taught by our own teachers and staff.
SEP classes typically:
Run for approximately 6–8 weeks
Meet once a week for about one hour
Are offered during our Fall and Winter sessions
Give participating teachers an opportunity to earn additional income
And the best part? You choose what you want to teach! Classes can be academic, creative, recreational, or based on a special skill or interest you’d like to share with students.
The PTO typically begins accepting course proposals in August for the Fall session and again in December for the Winter session.

Need to be reimbursed for an approved PTO expense? We’ve got you covered!
Teachers and staff may request reimbursement for eligible expenses related to:
Approved PTO Grants
SEP class materials and supplies
Other pre-approved PTO expenses
Please complete the Teacher/Staff Reimbursement Form and submit it along with your itemized receipts and any required documentation.
Important: Please keep your original receipts until your reimbursement has been processed.
